I’ve been obsessing over sparkling table cloths lately, and the photo above is what started it all. Aside from the amazing glitter, isn’t this kitchen/ dining area amazing? It’s so weird – this is exactly what I had envisioned my new kitchen (in the new house) to look. Guess I need to get my hands on a sequined tablecloth, it will obviously fit right in =)

I love how the girls over at Hey Gorgeous Events styled this table with turquoise drinks, sage green napkins and lucite glass taper holders. It all plays perfectly with the silver sequins, don’t you think?

Pretty place setting. Can you ever go wrong with white roses?

The tiny sequins creates a sea of silver sparkles. That was look number 1. Now let’s have a look at something totally different:
*
This tablecloth is covered in large, matte silver sequins. I love that it isn’t overly sparkly, it reflects just enough light to catch your eye. I’d LOVE to see this fabric draped over a coarse natural linen fabric for amazing contrast. What do you think?

This is an actual photo of the tablecloth used in the former photo. Notice just how matte the sequins are. A surprise indeed.
*
I believe this table cloth is the same as well. Looks a lot more sparkly in daylight =)

Reminiscent of fish scales, no?

Final look: A beautiful winter wonderland tablescape arranged on a densely sequined tablecloth. Love the way this fabric drapes at the table corners.

Millions of tiny sparkles, topped off with sugar (faux snow).

Now I have to ask, would you ever do a table with a sparkling metallic tablecloth like this? If so, what color and which of the three styles would you do? xox Linda
